    The Backpacker Quality Gear offers the occasional FREE Instructional class focused on specific topics like backpacking, paddling, and cooking. Classes are typical held on Saturday mornings, however please check the class specific details to be sure. Likewise, the classes will take place from 8:45 - 10am (unless specified in the event notes) with refreshments provided. Interested? Shoot us an email or call us for more information. Please view which store the classes will be at as well as how to register below.

    Come to all or pick and choose the class that you're most interested in. For these FREE classes, the size is LIMITED so please call or email us (contact info in class details) asap and put BACKPACKING 101 in the subject with the dates you will be attending. Please leave a phone number for us to reach you in case of class date change/cancellation.
